Graduated from (MBBS) Kempegowda institute of medical sciences, Bangalore university Dr.Kalpana Obtained diploma in obstetrics and gynecology(DGO) from Madras medical college in 1994 .Dr.Kalpana became a member of Royal college (MRCOG) in 2000 and elevated as fellow of Royal college in the year 2012 (FRCOG)

She has been a Consultant of obstetrics & gynecology P.K.S HOSPITAL Salem for the past 20 years .She is a Surgical team member (laparoscopy) in J.S. HOSPITAL also Menopause specialist in Akshaya women’s care.

Dr.Kalpana is a full life member of Salem obstetrics and gynecology society, Indian medical association, TAPISAR and Past secretary and president of Salem OGSOS.

Her active participation in organizing CME programmes will be quite amazing.

She has organized several conferences and workshops for labour and PPH etc.

Her Special interest lies in Ultrasound, laparoscopy and hysteroscopy procedures, menopause, and obstetrics medicine.
